This cake is perhaps the most exquisite cake of all the cakes entered in this contest.  I can only think of one other cake that comes next to it.  Well done Lisa!  You definitely showed your craftsmanship.

This is Bling with class! I love it's elegance, but not only that - it is very well executed and so neatly done, which to me all makes the final difference in a cake. The recipient must have been very happy! You have access to gadgets and products that I wish we did too and would love to try, but you use them well and they don't replace your skill. Thanks for sharing your cake with us.

So far this is my very favorite, so far. It's very elegant & understated. I love the soft gold. I've just got the Sugarveil system & I'm sending for the extra 4 mats right away. Then I'll get the airbrush system.
