you can also add melted choc over the rice crispies and smooth out before applying the fondant... but good job your detail on the other parts were gorgeous :)

One thing add up buttercream cover rice krispy to prevent unsmooth. and may be your cake was not enouh heavy sponge cake as Pound cake, are perfect for rolling fondant work.

You learn from mistakes correctly into perfectly.. takes practice and learn from error !
