Well some decorators don't have the time to make everything by hand these days. Especially when they have several cakes to produce for a Saturday, they need to find ways to maximize their time and creativity and still remain productive. These items are simply to make decorators lives a bit easier, especially if they don't yet know how to make a "ribbon" or complicated "gum paste" flower for instance.

I don't understand.....why bother making a cake and decorating it, with all this premade stuff....buy your cakes.
