Hi Marie-Christine,
Thank you for your lovely comment. To make the rose patch I rolled a thin piece of white fondant & cut a strip to attach to the yellow background. I rolled these together to make the background and cut a square so I had a stripe as a base. The roses & leaves are handpainted with paste colour mixed with a little gin/vodka. I copied a piece of material from the actual pillow. After I'd painted the roses I wanted them to stand out a little, so I gave them a slight relief look by outlining in a little royal icing - along the inside petals too. I'm glad you like it, it was my first attempt at painting on sugar like this. Tracy x
