I haven't been here in quite awhile and finally got to visit and enjoy. I see you might attend the Cupcake Show and Competition. Please, please do come. I think that you will be very happy and pleased that you do. Great teachers for classes, very good judges and exceptional demonstrators. Five vendors have paid and signed up already! Lots of good assortment for sugar art products.  We have a raffle of a $500+ cake stand with fabric and lights in the center, clear pole donated by The Knock Shoppe, $500 promised by Beth Parvu of Sugarpaste which will be used, along with the cash prize, for the "Best of Show" of the Decorative Division.  There is even a category for a 3-tier Wedding Cake where each tier must be shaped as a round cupcake.  The First Place prize for that is $75.00 along with a beautiful, hand-painted, clear glass cake plate stand.  We are having a bake sale for which I am asking anyone who decorates cupcakes and would like to to please donate some cupcakes.  You should be well within an hour from Beacon NY.  Class registration, attendee registration, demo signed up (5 demos are free with the "Attendee Registration" which is only $25.00 and includes a goodie bag and badge.  You may even want to invite friends and family to come as there is an Early Bird General Admission at a reduced rate along with the regular At-door registration.  These attendees receive orange, paper wrist bands for entrance to the event.  The can vote on "Peoples Choice" for the Decorative Division.  There is also a "Tasting Division".  Competitors start at the age of 4 and go right on up to Masters.  The categories are divided into two levels:  Non-Pro (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced and Pro (Semi-Pro, Professional and Masters).  You may even like to volunteer an hour or two, but that is all up to you.  Just come and participate in whatever way you so desire, meet me and have a good time.  Love to hear from you.  Best to you, Diane
