I'm 24 years old, very very happily married and I live in Central Texas :D I've been decorating cakes for close friends and family for 2 years now. I have not taken any classes and I unfortunetly do not work in a bakery. I learned what I know so far, from my Mother who decorated cakes for 31 years then suffered a Stroke about 3 years ago. She's doing good now, but is unable to do the one thing she loved the most (Decorating Cakes). Also learned a few tips from some of my Fellow Decorators and endless Youtube videos XD haha. I love doing new things and I love a challenge :D All the Fondant, Candy Clay, Icings and Cakes I use for my cakes and cupcakes are all Homemade. Any tips, advice would be greatly appreciated. You are going to love it here - I'm so pleased you joined. I see you've posted some pictures already and I'm going to sit down and pile on the calories just looking lol.

This is such a friendly site and really hepfull too. I've learnt a lot from some of the instructional videos posted and also by participating in the discussions. It's jusst a shame for me that I'm in the UK. Most people on the site are in the States and the time difference means I have to stay up late to chat.

I pop on here most days..hope to see you on here soon.
