Thanks for the suggestion. Tagging was already in my plans. I just wanted to get the up for now as I've been planning to do it long ago but kept putting it off. I'm currently 8 months pregnant, so I squeezed in that one task before setting off to do another before the big day. Again thanks and I will get back too them sooner or later.

Thanks a lot June!  Mick had the angled edges that were cut off to shape the logs and he said - is this what your logs are made of?  They're going to ******* love 'em! Now he's an expert on my cakes, so I guess they tasted OK too!

Yes I am a transplanted Canadian.  I moved to California from Ottawa a little over 8 years ago.  Lived in Ottawa 20+ years, but was born in Montreal.  The move to California was a very difficult transition for me since I didn't know anyone.  Got into cakes not quite 2 years ago.  Joined a cake club and met a few ladies through that, but, only see them at cake related events.  At times I think I would love to move back to Ottawa, but the idea of snow gives me the chills just thinking about it.  Spoiled with the California weather.

I had my eyes worked on last year during my cataract operation. They put lens into my eyes so that I don't have to wear glasses anymore except for reading and driving. He made one eye near sighted and the other one far sighted. Doesn't make sense to me, but he said that the brain sorts it all out and then I adjust in my vision so that most of the time, I don't have to wear glasses. (But I do for those 2 things.)
