You are very welcome Betty. Your cakes are truly amazing & beautiful. You are such a talented lady. I wish they had a "like" feature on here like Facebook does so I could "like" every one of your cakes. Each one is unique, your color combinations are always perfect, and your piping & flowers are perfection as well. To be doing cakes as long as you have & still going strong is quite an accomplishment. It's apparent that everyone must love your cakes because you're always so busy. I don't know that I could keep up that pace. I visited your new website & browsed through your wedding cakes. They are stunning. Each & every person here is talented & gifted but each one also has their own unique, special gift that sets them apart from everyone else.

Yes, it is my grandson. 
Red hair and blue eyes as cute as ever!  I waited a long time for a grandchild, my son is 40!

Wow, Betty! I just watched your slide show and you have some pretty amazing cakes! Your piping skills are outstanding! (I'm a big fan of piping too), I don't decorate too much anymore but your cakes remind me a lot of what my style is, and your color choices are so appealing that it makes me want to take a finger full of your icing right off the cake! Beautiful, beautiful piping!

lol Betty - I realised you were talking about flowers!  That's very interesting information, thank you.  My outside fridge is full of flowers and nothing else!  I'm going to try that next - might give me a different texture that will work better.  I've always steered clear of shortening as I was concerned about it's effect on flavour.  On to Plan D :)
