Hi Rosemary, I'm sorry your cake was missed and that I only just saw your message now. I don't receive notifications for comments on my page. If you ever have an issue, please send me a private message. I am currently working on an update for this website that should resolve many of the glitches. Right now, the search is having problems and caused your cake not to be found. I apologize for the inconvenience. Love your cakes! :)
There was no tag "EAN11" where the tags were Rosemary. Under tags you had..... butter, cream, galpin, glamour...etc. I clicked on More to see if the tag was there, but it wasn't. That's why I put a note on your page asking if you were entering, because there was no tag # evident. Sorry Rosemary..... I just ck'd your picture again...and there is no tag no. I can't enter it now...that would be up to Theresa. If you added the EAN11, it didn't come through.
You could have just ck'd my profile page here... hee hee I live in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Would be great if your son gets a job there. Be great for him. :o)
Your still nursing .....FULL TIME!!!!!! Oh my goodness. I was a PSW for 20yrs, and a preventive dental asst & receptionist for 10 yrs before that. Stayed at home with the kids for 11 yrs, but ran a daycare out of my home also during that time. My son just got his benefits, and they stink!! He just got his 1st full time marketing job after getting his Masters in sports marketing & admin. Unfortunately, his job is at a large opthamology firm. Not exactly his dream job, or the field he wanted. But it is a start, and he is paying off his school debt, which is sizable. He is contantly looking for a new job. But like USA, jobs are hard to find. I do enjoy my retiement, more than I ever thought I would. But I will be 62 in July... so I am a mite older than you. :o)
My Mom was a professional dressmaker, so I learned to sew very young. I made most of my clothes & childrens clothes. Alsa it is way too expensive to sew now. Patterns ranging upwards to $13, and you haven't even bought the material or notions. I took cake decorating when both my children were small. There now 34 & 29. Was on hold for years except b-day party cakes. Didn't make my 1st "real cake", a wedding cake, for my niece until 2006. Was working full time & dabbled. Now retired, have more time to play. Enjoy just being a hobby baker with the occasional paid cake.
Well I gotta say Rosemary. Read your bio on your Cake site. Very impressive. I would had thought you were a seasoned professional, but you only started in 2008. Just amazing. :o)
Thank you ,thank you, thank you, your a little star Rosemary. I've ordered them, not sure how long it will take to get to the UK, but will let you know. Thank again. Ann
