I really don't know how you enter the Ultimate Cake Off. They contacted me before they ever filmed the first episode but I didn't make the cut until season 2! It helps if you get on a team as an assistant and I hear that they are always looking for new talent because they have approached people at Competitions in Austin. They would ask you for a video interview and pictures of your cakes....I had to do that twice. It all goes through a casting agency and then they weed you out and send the ones that they think will do well on TV to the producers of the show. I dont' even know how to contact the casting agents but you might ask Eric Woller about it and see if he could give you more info. I don't know why they called on me at first but I know they called me back because they heard about me from a few of my friends that were on other episodes and so the producer called me herself instead of having the casting agent contact me. It is just as much personality as it is skill though...it's TV...so your taped interview has to be good
