Welcome to the site, Sandie. With warm weather, I don't get on the site as often as I should so I missed your friend request until today. I read your request for a good pound cake recipe, but in all honesty, I don't do a lot of carved (actually, none, to be exact) cakes, so I am not familiar with a lot of pound cake recipes, other than the two or three that I use. I think if you search through the recipe section of the site, you should be able to find something pretty good. Also, if you search through the photos for sculpted cakes, you may find one of the members who can steer you on to a good solid recipe. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to answer your request. This is actually a very friendly site and the people are very helpful, so please don't judge the site because of my negligence. =O(
