Hi All

For those who wanted to know how to make the Frangapani, I have found a tutorial on YouTube which shows step by stap instructions. You can find this under:

Hope this helps.

I finally got a little counter where I can keep most of my supplies and have easy access to create when ever I feel like it. I tried the Frargapani. It was easy! I don't have many places to buy petal dust but, I bought a thing with a lot of colors of chalk . Each is a 1'' square. It works tho.I did post gum paste roses photos! Can't believe they turned out. Need help on rose buds tho! Thanks for posting them.

I think they do grow in Hawaii... not sure. Definately not here... it gets very cold her in the winter and very hot in the summer... dry most of the time in the summer... snow in the winter...

I watched your you tube and think I can figure them out. I love all the colors that you can make them . They'd never grow here between the mountains and the desert!

Thanks for the compliment! I started making cakes 32 years ago... then took about a 15 year leave from it while I was coaching softball. I coached for 25 years total but got back into cakes at the same time. When I started there was no fondant etc... used a lot of wilton plastic pillars etc... looking back I just laugh. I work full time so just do cakes after work at night!
