Yes, I think so???? My 60 yr. old brain does take time to "compute"..Ha! Ha! stuff. Been up since 6.30am, & haven't accomplished a thing. I have some house painting to do, so I better get crakin.
Will re-read this later & see if I can figure things out. Thanks Kelly. You have been helpful and ever so polite. But since I am old enough to be your Mother, guess it's kinda hard to dis an "old lady"!!!!!!
let me see if I can explain. When on Clarky's cakes, you will see on the left hand side you will see
"LIKES". Underneath are 2....Cake Decorating with Donna, Add your Interest.
I know I went on Donna's FB page, clicked "like", and there appeared Cake D with Donna under my Likes. SOoooo, when I went on other FB cake sites, like yours, I don't understand when I clicked the Like, why TSC & logo didn't appear under those 2 already their???? So, yes, I want to see YOU/YOUR FB cake page on my list.
I know I can see the 24 or so that like my FB cake page, but I wanted to showcase other talented FB cake sites on my page as well. My nephew, the computer programer, is on va-ca right now, but when he gets home, I am sure he will be able to solve this dilemna.
Yes the people that "like" Clarky's cakes are under my info. What I want is to have YOUR FB page & others to show up under MY "Likes". I googled, and FB info says I have to put on 'edge.create'. Well, I don't understand that computer jargin. Have to contact my nephew who is a computer programer. Maybe he can "talk me"through it.
So Iconsider myself a "Computer Moron"!!!! I went on your cake FB page and "liked" you. Went back to my FB cake page, and GRrrrrrr, you were not their on the left hand side under "Likes". My son said they all don't show up, but that can't be right, cause they show up on yours. This kinda stuff frustrates the living daylights out of me!!!! My husband knows 0 about FB, and I have googled my guts out trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. Guess I am going to have to search out an expert. My great niece is 18, and being savy with social media, I bet she could probably tell me what to do.
Your cakes are amazing. You really have talent. I am just a hobby baker. Do by word of mouth. Keeping under the radar cause if you really get "out there", someone or some shop can make a call to the local health dept. Then it is another whole ball game. This is what happened to Icing Inspirations in Kitchener. Someone, they suspect a cake shop owner who felt threatened, reported them. They went from home kitchen, to church kitchen, to buying & running their own store/shop. At 60, just want it as a sideline. I will ck out Buddy's site. Maybe you can tell me how to "like" something on my Clarky's Cakes FB page. My daughter use to help, but since she is not here anymore, I have been floundering around trying to figure it out. I have 1 Like there, and for the life of me, can't figure how I did it!!! Would put your FB page as a Like on mine.
AH.....Acton...."The Old Hyde House"!!! I just retired from Red Cross doing homecare...20 yrs. Until the Ont instituted the "Linz"....a disaster, Acton was part of our area..."Halton". We in Burlington got axed from Halton & attached to St. Catherines branch, even tho our supervisors & other staff, went to Mississauga.
Ya, like that made sense?? We are 15-20 min from Mississauga, and 45-50 min from St Kit's on a good day. It was crap like this, plus the job being so physically challenging, plus my age, 60, that I thought it was time to hang it up, retire, & enjoy making cakes!!!
My daughter & s-in-lw just moved to Kanata this past Sept. I miss her. She lived with her in-lws to save for a house & worked for a investment comp in TO. We helped her move in & were their for thanksgiving. She will come down for Christmas.

Where did u meet Buddy? He was here @ Hamilton Place in Sept/Oct, but the tickets were really expensive, so I couldn't afford to go.
