I do cake making and cake decorating as a hobby.  I am self taught and enjoy doing this a lot!  I find it very relaxing.  I have a full-time stressy job and being able to come home and do my cakes is my chilling out time.  My son has shown an interest and started off by helping me out, he now also makes cakes and is excellent at making models.
