Sorry Dawnette, I hadn't read you full comment, about the babies on the shower cake. I used fondant to shape them. You have to make them a few days before you need them so that they will firm up. If you go to Michaels' or one of the other craft stores in our area, try to pick up Wilton's book, "CELEBRATE WITH FONDANT' pg.89, will have a great picture of this cake, along with easy instructions. hope this helps you.
Hi Dawnette,I've been so busy; I make the Easter chocolates for my grandchildren and my children who aren't watching their weight. They like the chocolate-peanutbutter like the one Kelly's country store used to sell. So I make this one for them and other flavors they like. I have quite a few choc molds. I didn't have any Easter cakes to decorate. My contribution for Easter was a large eclair cake with whip cream and choc fudge drizzled on top, delicious. I've been baking and decorating for about 25 years. My children didn't like the taste of the bakery cakes. This is what started me decorating. I'd copy the designs from the bakery's. Then I started buying Wilton's yearbooks and taught myself. I'm kind of new with fondant deco. I do it mostly for family, since customers don't want to compensate you for the extra cost of fondant. Hope to keep in touch, good luck.
