Hate say this, but I got the rice paper down in L.A. on a trip! However, you should be able to get the paper from Global Sugar Art.com, they have just about everthing you can imagine! It was an HP printer with soy ink. When we bought the ink I made sure that it was soy. It is the ink that is the driving force, not the printer. They will try and tell you otherwise so you can spend hundreds on a "special" device but you just need non-toxic ink. Turns out that you can't scan it through you computer as it won't print money! It must be a copier that you use, then feed in each sheet. Embedded in money is some sort code so you can't make counterfit money. Since it was to be eaten and it was printed on rice paper, I figured that it didn't matter! When you see it up close it isn't that sharp, by any means. No one would think you were trying to pull a fast one. The coins were done the same way, then cut out and "glued" onto fondant rounds. Hope this helps. By the way, most new ink is non-toxic, just read the lable. Good luck. J

Very nice. The money picture looks real.  What kind of printer did you use and where did you buy the rice paper?  I have been using frosting sheets and Its always a nighmaire trying to remove the edible image off the backing sheet.  So no I am thinking of changing to rice paper.  I appreciate your feedback.
