Trust me...it is super easy.  The hardest part is mixing the colors into the batter. (lol)  You can definitely do it...have fun!!!!!

gosh Christie, thanks for that!  Sounds kind of easy - but I bet I can make it look like a dogs dinner lol!  I might just try it though, it's fun.

Thanks! It's pretty easy....just mix up your favorite white cake batter. Divide into 6 different containers.  Color each container with different colors using food coloring.  Then layer the colors in the pan.  I usually do the order of the rainbow.  Put some spoonfuls of red in the pan then add some spoonfuls of orange on top of the red (but don't mix together), then add some spoonfuls of yellow on top of the orange, etc...until the pan is half full then bake.  I do the colors in the opposite order on the second pan for optimal color variance.  Now you can do it too!!  :)
