yes, i done that on a vase or two
Yes, I figured this out too Monica. Modeling chocolate is so soft, so with the stability of the fondant, it helps. Sometimes, add a very small touch of tylose powder.
yes aronna, make or purchase the fondant, make your modeling chocolate, you could do a 50/50 mix or if its too soft for you to handle you can make 70% fondant with 30% modeling choco. For me it all depends on what im trying to do, different cakes my require more or less chocolate mix with the fondant. I have done lots of experiementing and this is what works for me. Just do a little practice with it and you will soon find your footing.
so you just mix the chocolate and fondant together? hmmm......that's a idea
hi aronna:
This is a 50/50 modeling chocolate and fondant, when iam doing sculpting work, i use modeling chocolate to get that smooth appearance, when iam covering anything else, i will use this 50/50, it makes the mmf taste better and has more elasticity, it also doesnt sweat when it comes out of the frige.
is this modeling chocolate or fondant? nice cake!
thnx june
Oooo nice job.....cool cake Monica!!
