Winter Holiday Cake Contest

This cake is in the true spirit of the website and the competition. I am an amateur and have only made a couple of cakes but have been able to put this one up because of all the excellent tutoring I have had the benefit of seeing on-line! A fruit cake underneath - the fondant covering is super smooth, I think because the cake is so firm as well as the fact that I went a little thicker so it didnt crack. There is glitter all over it but that is hard to see in the photo. The topper is removable - so was saved as a keepsake for the holidays.
