I used a Garett frill cutter. I was trying to achieve a lace look.

From the top view, June, (in the other pic) all of the yellow combined look like a doily on top of the cake! Did you use a Garrett frill cutter for the yellow outside edge ruffle? I should do something with all of my leftovers. I have bag on top of bag of gum paste that is going to get dried out if I don't use it.

You used a bowl as a 'dummy'? Very clever!

Yes, I was just playing around Katy. It was raining & miserable out, so I did this to cheer myself up!!
Used a bowl, so now I need to scrape everything off & into the composte so I can have my bowl back!!
