That's what I do Martin.  Mix several  1-1 1/2 lbs of fondant the colour I want, then incorporate them. I try and do a day or 2 ahead because the colour usually darkens. it is a lot of work, hard on the hands. I don't have a airbrush... so, you gotta do what ya gotta do.   :o)

Yes I often spray single tier cakes , but I have found that as some colours dry they change , often getting darker , so decided to mix this one by hand.
I was really worried about getting it right , so mixed 1 kilo at a time then blended them together .
Was really pleased with the final result !

Just stunning Martin - love this so much. I know some decorators use airbrush colour when it comes to large quantities of colour - to make sure it's all the same hue. Have you every tried that? This is just so wow
