Thank you Linda, the middle tier is piped.  I used a wilton #6 and changed the pressure off and on down the cake.  it was supposed to look like the matilesse (dont know if that is spelled right) style blankets my grandmother kept on her bed.

Wow! I really like this one too, Tammy. I don't know how you did the middle tier on the sides, but it very affective! (vertical frills??) This just looks like it should be in the 1800s at a fancy ball as a vintage cake.
