I just couldn't let that one slide... I type the first thing that comes into my head..., then I reread it, to see if it is viable. lol
This is a very lovely wedding cake Betty.
LOL That was a smart move. Even we can do that, or... I think I can. Not so sure about Sandra though... HA HA HA!""
I'll give you a hint... My sweet son came up with an idea. He measure the height of the cake, used long straight pins, (the kind with little heads) poked them into a piece of cardboard the height of the cake with the pin part sticking out, spaced them apart about 3/4" and I rotated the turntable, made a faint line in the icing & I followed that with my piping bag. Hardest thing was holding the piping bag steady.: ))
Dang, woman! How do you pipe them so straight?! Unbelievable. If I practiced every day for the rest of my life, I would not be able to do this!
Sandra, you better lay down....I piped every line.Ha!!HA!!
Gorgeous, gorgeous cake, Betty! The whole display looks wonderful. Are the horizontal bands around the layers piped or is it textured with a tool? If you say piped, I am going to faint!
Thanks Goreti...
so lovely
