I do use Wilton buttercream frosting.

Thanks!  I used a square 6, 8, and 10 inch pan.  This feeds around 80 people.  I used a thick solid satin ribbon and a silver ribbon from JoAnn Fabrics.  I used double sided tape at the ends of the ribbons to hold them together.

This cake is very pretty and my niece loves it.  I'm making her wedding cake for July 23 and she just sent me this picture of your cake today.  If you could answer a few questions that would be great.  What size pans did you use?  Where did you find the crystal bands?  What kind of ribbon do you use so that the ribbon doesn't absorb the grease? 

I've looked at several of your cakes and you do such a nice job.
