The waterfall is just buttercream that I colored with blue and teal and then spray painted with Wilton icing tints in blue. I used blue sparkling gel icing for the main water on the bottom tier. The sand is crushed vanilla wafers. She loved it! I just made another version of this same cake for my cousin's 2nd birthday. I made a Shrek cake. The top tier was green grass and trees with Fiona's castle. The middle tier was still green, but with more trees. The grass got darker, the closer you got to the edge. The bottom tier was really dark green and brown - the water was a greenish-bluish-gray with gummy work "snakes". I'll post a picture later today. :)

This is really cute. How did you make the water? and. what did you use for the sand? I'll bet your daughter loved it!
