I love pastels, lace and pearls. This cake has everything I love.

Amazing job. I would love to be able to make a tea cup like this and the smoke adds just the right special touch.

Anytime and believe me I know I'm from NY and I never had central air until I moved to NC I even lived in Mass and no central air but most likely you'll have it in your new place and at least your going to city limits me I live in a rural area a very big difference from what I'm use to but thank goodness I have a car because I don't know what I would do...lol

Thank you! I can't wait to have central air conditioning again. We have lived with a window air conditioner for the last 2 years and it only covers about 500sf. I never thought to ask if there was central air when we rented the house. Central air comes standard where we are from. :)

Yea just a lil but I can understand why you feel that way I actually live 45 min from Fort Bragg I just had some family members move from there its wonderful there what I do is keep the house cooled my kids and husband hate it sometimes but hey my cakes have to survive the night lol...I had one incident where I finished the cake in the summer and didn't have the air on and woke up and my fondant was ruined let's just say lesson learned but overall no problems I just make sure your in a cool area and the majority of homes out here is central air condition so you'll be fine..

Thank you Shay! I love the smoke too! :) I noticed you live in NC. I am moving to the Fort Bragg area this summer. I am a little concerned about the humidity and how my cakes will turn out. Am I over-reacting?

Thank you all for the wonderful comments. I did put the stencil against the cake and applied a thin coat of buttercream. It was nerve racking to do but I luckily it came out. :)

stencil with buttercream - that means you placed the stencil on the cake and iced over it with pink buttercream?  I can' decide if I like the top or the bottom better.  Neat work!
