This was my first purse cake and first time using my edible image printer!
The purse cake was made from a 13" x 9" cake; cut, stacked & carved, then covered in homemade marshmallow fondant. I found the Coach logo online, then using a drawing program, called CorelDraw, I redrew the image, added the colors and printed on 8.5" x 11" icing image sheets (needed 3). I cut the sheets to fit all four sides and the top. I made the zipper without a mold using different modeling tools and painted it with gold dust. Tylose was added to the bow, handles and tag. The chain attached to the tag was made from a hand-made pearl mold then painted with edible gold dust. Under the purse is an oval cake to resemble a gift box. The martini glass with hologram disco dust is non-edible.
As a side note: credit should go to the original designer of the purse cake whom is unknown to me.
