I am brand new to all of this, ok doing cakes since last March and a slow learner.  I saw that you can make your own molds.  Can someone tell me how or suggest a website, tutorial... that I can hook into?  that sounds like fun.  I would also need to know how to make the medium for the mold.

thanks in advance.

How the heck did I manage all that!!!??? I also didn't know you did preaching etc.??  Interesting. You will have to email me & tell me more..... :o)

Sandra, really, what June is saying is true. You literally can sit and have one cup of coffee in the morning, mix up half and half of the putty, and form it around whatever it is you want to make, and in FIVE MINUTES you can actually USE that mold! It's great for buttons, and cameos, etc. I'm going to go to the Salvation Army and look for a cheap pair of high heels and try one of those shoes. I've been too chicken to give it a try, but after seeing how pretty Goreti's and June's shoes turned out, now I am game.

Thanks June...I sure should try. I have bought pieces to mold and the medium and they are still sitting there; thinking that it might be difficult and I read, re-read instructions to make sure of shat i need to do....in other words...I'm such a slow poke). I do lack of time June, remember I work full time, help with homework, and also my duties as a Christian (meetings and preaching time-remember) plus all the cake's orders...I need a day of 48 hours and I will be happy. Lol

OMG Sandra

Making your own mold literally takes minutes.  Once you have your item to copy, you mix your medium together, push the object into the mold material, wait 20 min.... Wahla.... done. A Saturday morning project while your drinking your coffee. Honestly Sandra, when you make your 1st one, you are constantly searching when you are shopping @ Michael's or wherever to see  .....  what else can I mold.  Trust me.... you get hooked!!!!
