I love this.  I was just thinking about making some sugar flowers as centerpieces for my in-laws 50th Anniversary Party.  I thought I was being original but it looks like you already thought of it :)

I cannot imagine who could have been up against you. These flowers are just gorgeous! And your presentation is lovely.
 You would have thought that Nicolas Lodge, or Alan Dunn had made these. Your a gold medalist in my book. Take centre stage on the podium!!

Thank you all so much for the lovely comments.  I entered this in a competition and got a 'Highly Commended' not too bad for my first competition.  I think I made the vase a bit too big though and therefore didnt really make enough flowers to fill the gaps.  It was a good experience though and I think I can improve for next time.
