Dawn, if you make the marshmallow fondant, it is sooooo much cheaper and much tastier than store bought. For a cake covered in fondant with minimal decorations, I charge $5.00 a serving. For cupcakes, I charge $3.25 per cupcake. In all honesty, I hate making cupcakes. They are too much work for what they are worth in my book. Dawn, you have got to give it a try. It's is really a lot of fun to work with. If you use the marshmallow fondant, it is cheap and you won't feel bad if it doesn't turn out for the first cake. You have to start sometime! Don't wait like me, until you are in your 60s! Get your feet wet now. As cute as your figures are up above, you will have it mastered in absolutely no time at all.

i have a yahoo website it is really easy to create and about 14.00 a month. to tell you the truth fondant does scare me a little bit. do you make your own or use satin ice or another brand? the fondant cakes are so beautiful. if you don't mind what do you charge per person for fondant covered cakes?

Well thank you Dawn, but I have only been doing fondant work for about two years! I had always done butter cream too, thinking that fondant was too expensive and too hard. But I decided to give it a try since my wrists started going so bad from piping, and I found out that I love working with it! No...I don't have a web site that I work on anyway. I have one tutorial posted on a blog spot but I am ashamed to say, I have not kept up with it. You can visit my little tutorial here if you like. http://cccbylinda.blogspot.com/
