Hey thanks I used the small heart pan then as far as the roses I watched the wilton lady on you tube over and over again. You tube has been my best friend when it comes to decorating a cake. You should check it out and thanks again I have been trying so hard. Oh and I also noticed that homemade wilton icing is better to work with than the store bought icing.

This is beautiful!  Simple, elegant and gorgeous!  Did you use a round pan and adjust those fantastic roses (I'm so jealous) in the shape of a heart?  Or did you have a heart pan and still made those lovely roses (I'm so jealous) around the perimeter of the cake?

Referring to my "(I'm so jealous)" is because my roses are horrible and I need to practice more and more but since I have not gotten it down it is not my favorite thing to do or practice!  LOL.
