awww, thank you Ruby! You know, I would never have even thought to do a cake like this except I saw Nadia's and hers are so beautiful, that I just had to try it.

Hahaha! Tracy....I think it will taste a little like Styrofoam! It's a dummy! I made it as a last minute cake to take to our cake show, and literally did it the night before. No ribbons on it-not surprising, as I really do stink at string work. But it was a tremendous learning experience and I was grateful to get the critique from the judges, as it gives me a reality check and lets me know what I need to do to become better.

Very pretty lace cake Linda. Nadia's lacework is pretty stunning isn't it - you've done a great job and I bet it tasted wonderful. x
