Froggy Wedding Cake

This was my daughter's wedding cake. She has always been crazy about frogs, so I made bride and groom frogs on top. This cake was the product of one disaster after another, but the happy couple were pleased with the result. I was originally going to pipe brown flower silouettes on the sides of the cake. I decorated it in the church hall on a very hot day without air conditioning. The decorations melted down the sides of the cake. Then I wrapped the cake with this pretty ribbon that I found at a craft store (solid light blue with a brown cut-out ribbon on top. It had a nice effect, but the oiliness of the frosting made it look greasy. Finally, I wrapped the sides of the cake with clear plastic wrap and put the ribbon on top. Problem solved....
