Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

This cake was for my friends 40th birthday. I used 10 inch, 8inch and 6 inch round tins and hand carved the cake to shape. (very challenging)
The bottom tier is chocolate sponge with dark chocolate ganache. The middle and top tier are plain sponge with jam and cream, with a thin layer of white chocolate ganache. The number 40 was covered in silver glittery card and had pink diamantes around the edges (which unfortunately cannot be seen in this photo)
