I was eating Tootsie Rolls and decided to make a rose. Thanks for looking. Next time I'll get flavored (colord) Tootsie Rolls

Yes
Cadbury Flake is one that comes to mind. We have 2 Brit shops in our general area. Not sure if they are both still operating? My bro-in-lw went in their all the time to get "specialty" items you couldn't find here in grocery stores.

True June - there's quite a few things we don't have here that you do.  But on the other hand, it does work both ways..............

I LOVE tootsie roll....it is a weakness!!   But now I have an excuse to buy...1/2 to eat..... 1/2 to make roses....sounds like the perfect solution    :o)

Poor Katy...your deprived...NO tootsie roll in GB.....  :o(

cool--I used to make ribbon type roses with fruit by the foot by rolling it & pinching the bottom and then you pull the top a little here & there to make the petals. Kids used to love to eat the "roses"
