You know what I saw in a search Anne?  Wish I had saved it. Can't even remember where I saw it. A cake wrapped in fruit roll ups dusted with lustre dust!!! Also shapes, I think stars, also from the roll ups.  it was actually pretty cool!!

They're definitely both sour and sweet but also very easy to out on the cake. Very pliable and bendy so would easily fit and cuts easy with scissors. It is covered with sugar so the icing was very sweet. I would overlap them more if i did it again so the ends didn't have the icing peek thru, but lesson learned! Also considered using Sour Punch straws but they only came in a few colors, not the rainbow look, plus these covered the space quick.

You're not going to believe it Anne, but my son brought some candy from the Dollarama that looked similar to this. It was all pink & sparkly. Sour & sweet.

It is a type of candy Anne. Kind of like our sour gums you get at the bulk store here.  They come in long multi-coloured strips. All most like fruit roll ups.
