Pretty in Pink Ruffles & Rosettes Baptisim Cake
This is the cake I made the gumpaste baby for. Customer wanted lots of pink.... she got it. A bit too much pink for me, but I aim to please. I did offset some with a few violet rosettes. Fantasy flower and cross both gumpaste.

You know it was really warm here too. I had the windows open while I did my house cleaning and had to bring out the short & tank top. It was about 80 today but will be in the 50s on Sunday & Monday

Had a slight problem with my icing & icing tip. It was unseasonably warm here today for Oct. Between my warm hands & the weather, I had to keep pausing to refridgerate the icing, SOooo annoying. And for some reason, even tho I wiped my tip often, it was clogging. Plodded on and eventually got it done. Find doing these BC cakes a bit of chore... not my thing. Don't feel my piping is very good. Prefer fondant. But this is what was requested. Customer was super happy tho. She just picked up the cake.
