Lovely cake.... Did you by chance use your phone to take and upload your picture?? Seems for some reason the phone uploads distort ....don't know why.
Goreti.....I use my iPad exclusively to take my cake pics...both vertical and horizontal.....never had a distorted upload.

Same thing happened to me this weekend.  I think it was because of the way the photo was taken.  I used my ipad and decided to turn the ipad so that the longer sides were vertical.  When I tried to post that picture, this is what I got.  When I uploaded the one taken normally, it was fine.
