High density paint roller?!  That is a new one on me and sounds very interesting...........  Do you put parchment or something on the bc to protect it before rolling?

Sandra thanks so much, I get my butter cream frosting smooth using a high density paint roller, I first crumb coat, freeze, second thicker coat of butter cream frosting, smooth with a warm dough cutter blade or angled spatula, let crust for 15 mins, then roll smooth the top first, then the sides. I hope this works for you! It is nothing new! Katy Nott thanks again, these roses appear on the other wedding cake from 11-8-2014, I made 60, made too many, that Bride said to use them on some one's cake as a Blessing, so I played it forward and use the remaining in this one. 5 petal cutter, Wilton rose cones, tooth picks, add red coloring when mixing the gumpaste, then added more after, then let sit for 2days in plastic, God is Good!  Best Wishes

Love how pretty and smooth that butter cream is, too!  Wish I could do that.
