I believe it had to do w/the fresh strawberries in the middle.  Their juices made the 2 layers a lil' unsettled.  I've learned not to add too much fresh fruit near the outside.

Kamini, could be that you are not giving the cake enough time to settle.

Beautiful. How big was this cake? Also - a Q - i get a sag in my fondant just like what you've got on the 2'nd tier. Do you know why that has happened?
