Sugar Violets
The violet is the birth flower for February. A friend has her 70th coming up on the 24th. We are sharing our birthday parties (I will be 60 on the 22nd!), as she is the mother of my stepdaughter, who is kindly doing a family party. I thought I might try and make the other birthday girl a chocolate box of chocolates as a gift (I won't be allowed to cake, sadly). So the violets are made to top the box of chocolates. I used the Culpitt Violet cutter set to make these.

Thank you June. I was quite happy with ones - quite fiddly, but I don't mind if the result is worth it. Even Mick said - you have got better and better since you've belonged to this group of yours! And he's right. So much motivation to try and be as good as others and so much encouragement when you try!

So lovely Katy. Know this will sound funny, but they look so real, they look like purchased silk flowers. I mean this in a most positive & complimentary way possible. Just beautiful. :o)
