Hope everything has gotten back to normal for you, Inoka.  It is a hard transition when you loose a family member.

Yes Sandra..... My husbands Dad passed away last month and he went back home, I had to do every thing ......so..didn't have time to come to see caky friends.

Thank you, June!  The cake, raspberries and frosting are good, but I do not like the ganache with it....too overpowering for the other delicate tastes.

I haven't, Betty, but I have seen your recipe.  I have an old, old recipe from my mama for prune cake and I've loved it all of my life.  It has a glaze made with buttermilk poured over the top.  I do plan to try yours too.
