thanks for the lovely comments ladies, Katy I will post a recipe for my fruit cake for you at the weekend I make loads of them and have never had one that is dry or fruit at the bottom with this recipe its awesome and very quick to make and yeah loads of marzipan too guess im an addict to the stuff too lol.

Oh Les - so beautiful.  btw do you have a fool proof fruit cake recipe?  I notice you make quite a lot of them so I guess you do.  My Mum was brilliant at them, but mine always seem to come out either a bit dry or the fruit sinks.  You know, the usual fruit cake issues!  Does this one have marzipan on it too, cos if it does I've died and gone to heaven........
