Stained glass design. I must have been crazy to try this one out. Stickiest mess I have ever worked with. Bottom tier is 12", middle tier is 8". and top tier is 5". All tiers are covered in fondant, then black royal icing was used to do all of the outline work to give it a raised design, then I used piping gel to fill in all of the 'glass' areas. Took me 3 days to finish. Thanks for looking!

Thank you everyone. I honestly don't know that I would ever try it again since it was so sticky, but I'm going to be 62 years old this year, and I told my husband that if I am ever going to learn any of these techniques, I better get started now. So for the last year, I have been really trying to learn as many techniques as I can before arthritis sets in. Thank God for the Internet! There are so many talented people who have put tutorials on line and been willing to share their knowledge and their techniques. How did we ever get by without the Internet?

Thank you Nadia. I've never tried this type of technique before, and thought I'd give it a try.
