Betty, I forgot to tell you just how much we enjoyed your BD cake.  The orange chocolate cake was delish!  As were the cake pops made with the leftovers!

Sandra, you are so right & believe me I understand perfectly. Guess I kinda got carried away there myself. A cake isn't really necessary. Just being remembered is nicest of all. :-)

Denise, I think I let my big mouth get the better of me :o(  Don't know if everyone wants to do a cake for each birthday because it is a lot of work.  I am so sorry and didn't mean to speak for the group.  I guess, since I am retired and have the time, I just assume -wrongly- that everyone else does, too.  Be sure an tune in on your birthday, though, because I have already started planning your cake!

OH!! I completely forgot about that...lol. There are so many other bd's coming up to do cakes for it slipped my mind. Well then, yes, I am ready to be showered w/some of the most fabulous cakes from all you fabulous ladies who are also such wonderful friends. This will be the 1st time in a very long time that anyone has made a cake for me on my bd. I'm soooo excited!!! :-) :-)!!

Yes Katy..the brush works, or in a pinch, a toothpick dipped in a smidge of water. Lightly pressing done the dots...
