Hi Jennifer,

I noticed your post to Fiona this morning.  I just wanted to give you a suggestion about black buttercream.  If you mix it with black gel color at least a day ahead of time and put it in the refrigerator, it will darken to a nice black.  Add enough color to make it a nice deep gray to start off.  Hope this helps.

I used Wilton's tip 233. I have not made a tree but it seems like it would be pretty easy using that tip to cover one of those small water-cooler cone-shaped cups... now I want to try it! I guess the icing would have to be at least medium consistency though, so that it wouldn't droop.

I love your grass, which tip did u use? Have you ever made a tree ?
