lol, i dont think your weird, michelle, i feel the same way, the last 3d baby (the ugly one) was made just to go ontop, but this, seems kinda cannibalistic.

Ok so I thought this was to go on top of the cake. I didn't know it was a cake. I have mixed emotions. I think it looks beautiful and I love your work but I am not sure how I feel about cutting it. Normally I have no problem in this department but I am not sure here. Has anyone else came across this? Maybe I am just weird

Ya....I just don't get this trend. Of course if you're moving away, or it is a office friends shower, that makes sense. Otherwise, just WAIT till baby arrives!

lol, so true june, maybe that is the way it ought to be done, i had two baby shower cakes on saturday and i figured, wow this is the first time with no unexpected delivery.  like 30min later i got the call.

Love this Monica.....great job. Kudos to you for doing a sculpted cake.....can't imagine trying.

You know in the "good ole days"   we waited till the baby was born to have a shower!!!!   1. No oops! cause you gave birth early  2. Everyone, I know me, wants see & hold the the newest arrival.

Guess I am just plain old fashioned!!!

thank you ladies, unforunately the baby shower had to be postpone until next week because the mom went into labor today and she delivered a  7lb baby boy.  So i wrapped the cake and it is now in the cake freezer.  This has happened to me four times, those babies, always showing up my cakes, lol
