Who the heck came up with those sayings anyway???? So silly, yet we ALL said them too!! Shows are age, cause when I spit one of those phrases out, my 28 yr old son just roles his eyes and says......You're too much!!

Ya, I here ya. My hubby doesn't complain about my cake supplies either. Go figure? Lucky you with a kitchen in basement. My Italian friend has a big one downstairs too. Shucks!! Married the wrong nationality!!

June, I actually have a kitchen in the basement (I think almost every Portuguese person in this area does).  It's pretty big & open but I seem to have something in every square inch when I decorate a cake.  It has gotten to the point that I try to decorate before he gets home just so I don't have to hear his comments.  I don't know why it bothers him so much since I do the cleaning.  Yet he has never complained about the money I spend on my little gadgets. Go figure.
