Cricut Cake Machin was pulled out from the dust and given a try with "Wilton Sugar Sheet"! It worked! I can't believe it! The top tier of the cake was cover with black sugar sheets, black frosting isn't pretty when you eat it LOL! The rest of the decorations were made from with candy clay, gumpaste and the sugar lace from Hobby Lobby (spider web). The stuff worked really well. Thanks for looking!

I felt the same way, I can't believe cutting with the Cricut Cake was the best part of making this cake. I saw a tutorial on Youtube, I purchased the green sticky mat, stuck the sugar sheet with the backing on, rolled over the sugar sheet a couple of times with a rolling pin, then cut - no problems! ( 2 days in a row of cutting). I need to pull this out and use it more too. Thank you Sandra and Veronica!

This is beautiful, Pamela.  Most Halloween cakes are just too gross, but this one gets the point across in a lovely way :o)  Funny about the Cricut Cake....I got mine out of the dust yesterday to cut some letters.  I was quite fun, don't know why I don't use it more often.
