This is Santa's elf. I made using fondant mixed with tylose powder. She was formed on a lollipop stick. I rolled her legs into a long worm, and wrapped white around the red and rolled once again until it blended together. I then formed the legs and wrapped them around the stick. I added a small piece of fondant on top of the legs to form hips, and rolled out a small piece of fondant w/ a small rolling pin to make the skirt. I then formed the torso by rolling it in my hands and forming the upper body, and placing it on the stick. I used a large ball tool to smooth out areas, and indent where the arms would go. I rolled out the arms in red fondant, and formed those, and attached using a small amount of water. I then formed her head by once again rolling out some brown fondant into a ball and using a large and small ball tool to form her features. I used a dresden tool to form her mouth. I let the figure dry overnight before adding her hair and features. I used green fondant to make the hair and added dimension to her hair using a dresden tool. I added her hair using a little water. I used edible markers to add eye color, and a small amount of black fondant to add as eyelashes. I added green fondant for the eyebrows. As for her hands, I used a small amount of brown fondant, and rolled it into a ball and flattened. Then I used and X-acto knife to cute the fingers and form those. Everything is held together by the lollipop stick and small amounts of water.
